Baljit Saini- Pickford is a Specialist Trainer in Aviation Recruitment. Baljit commenced her career in aviation in 1991 as cabin crew and rapidly started her specialisation in training and recruitment management.

Through 23 years’ experience with the same airline, Baljit built up an educationally diverse background, acquiring various professional certifications from the civil aviation authority.

Baljit has travelled globally recruiting and training potential candidates. A notable achievement was being selected to train Celebrities in safety and emergency procedures for a TV programme called Celeb Air!

Through her senior role with Cabin Crew Wings Baljit continues to demonstrate her passion for recruitment, training and aviation, supporting course attendees to succeed in their airline applications and beyond into their new life as crew.

During his 20 years working for British Airways, Christopher has visited 45 countries, clocking up 1.2 million miles as a Flight Attendant. He was also a nutritional therapist and British Airways Wellbeing and Inclusions Advisor. 
Christopher’s expertise comes from the practice of nutritional therapy, with hands on knowledge of working with frequent fliers in the aviation industry on long and short haul.

Christopher will talk about how to fly healthy; Enjoying your new cabin crew adventure and have the time of your life by looking after yourself.

Jamie has worked in the recruitment industry for 15 years, 5 of which have been spent at JMC supporting global MRO’s in the provision of contract and permanent aircraft maintenance personnel. Jamie originally joined JMC as a recruitment manager before taking over as the Head of Operations at the end of 2018, where he is responsible for the continued improvement of the candidate experience and ensuring the fulfillment of customer requirements through efficient recruitment solutions.

Jamie will be providing an overview of the aircraft maintenance employment market over the coming years and the potential opportunities for you as either a contractor or permanent member of staff.

Fenella Jefferson, Pilot Recruitment Consultant at GOOSE Recruitment has previously worked as a Commercial Pilot, Flight Instructor and Key Account Manager for over 21 years, in Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Fenella is a member of the British Women’s Pilot Association and will deliver a talk on ‘How to land a great Pilot job’ as well as share stories of her experiences flying in the Australian outback.

A speaker of seven languages who has lived in many different countries, Dr. Lim is an avid language learner, instructor, certified translator and interpreter who enjoys traveling and meeting people. With her academic background in language teaching and educational policy and her practical experiences in curriculum development, assessments, operations management and building the world’s first online English school over 20 years ago in Sweden, Dr. Lim is a frequent speaker at international conferences on online language learning. She is a firm believer of language as a bridge between people and enjoys composing piano music in her free time. She is currently learning Arabic and Turkish.

Greg is the Snr HR Business Partner at Bombardier Biggin Hill. Greg is fortunate enough to be one of the first Bombardier Biggin Hill Employees, starting with 2 others; now they have 180 staff, growing 250% in 3 years, with views of another expansion in 2021.

Greg will discuss Bombardier as a whole,  from the design of our Flagship Global 7500 to the Flight test facility in Wichita. Greg will also discuss the Service Facility Network and their commitment to training and Biggin Hill.
